Fighting for Education:
Representative Taylor co-sponsored legislation that
reduced class sizes across Iowa three years in a row, brought technology
into our classrooms, and helped to reduce a 10-year decline in fourth
grade student reading skills.Working Hard for Working Families:
Todd Taylor sponsored legislation which would make a
living wage mandatory and co-sponsored legislation which would ensure
safe and secure pensions. He fought for retaining programs for
those people who are out of work, need to change careers or re-enter the
workforce.
On the Side of Seniors:
As a Commissioner of Iowa's Department of Elder Affairs,
Todd Taylor sponsored legislation which would improve senior care
facilities and make Hospice accessible to more people. |
